What a great day!!

We just had an amazing day!! Britti had a fun 25th birthday-- what a blessing for her to be here in Athens so that we could celebrate together. We went out to Casa Nueva for dinner and then came home to open presents and eat cake. Much fun!!

Before dinner, though, we had two pieces of GREAT news!! Chelsea received her very first college acceptance letter (from Baylor), along with a merit scholarship! Very fast response :)

Also, Emmy won her election for Morrison-Gordon Elementary School Student Council President!!!! We were so proud of Emmy for giving a speech in front of almost the entire school and doing a great job of presenting herself and campaigning. What an honor and opportunity :) She's the youngest one in her grade, and it's terrific that she has such a super reputation with her peers.
