Chelsea and Britti cuddle with two of Chelsea's four new baby ducks! They were hatched on May 20, shipped to us, and now they're settled in our garage--- oh my!

The yellow ones are Pekins (and their feathers will eventually be white), and the black ones are Cayugas. Our lives are definitely going to be interesting for the next few months!

I am so proud of the girls! All together, they collected 2748 books for the preschool library! The staff was so impressed that they decided to dedicate the library to our troop. Tonight, the girls were presented with a plaque that will be mounted in the library. Very cool ceremony and great celebration of their hard work!!

Wow, it's tough to believe that our little Ellie-Kate has graduated from pre-school and headed to kindergarten, but it's true. She was so adorable during the program. We could hear her voice above many others, and she did all of the gestures. Her face just lit up the stage, and, after the program, her black hair sailed behind her as she ran through the auditorium-- Jack and then Aiden and Corbin in hot pursuit. I pray that Ellie-Kate is always such a happy, joyous little girl :)

This past soccer season was perhaps the coldest, most miserable on record! The kids were sweet, but, wow, the weather was just awful! However, we made it through, and Ellie-Kate had a great time :)
