Senior Night-- 9/27/11

Chelsea and the other seniors had a wonderful time on Senior Night. The other girls made them feel very special by decorating their lockers and the tennis pavilion. They brought lots of yummy food, and they formed a tunnel through which all seniors and their parents walked as Coach Gundy read a brief description of each senior. After the ceremony, the girls played their final matches on Mickelson Courts. (Chelsea was really excited that Coach Mickelson made a point to come back and watch as she played her last match!) The girls played Vinton County so the match was relatively easy for everyone except Hope and Castle. (Hope just started tennis this season so her match at second doubles was a bit challenging.)

Overall, though, the girls loved their flowers and gifts (a framed sleeveless shirt with their names on the back), and they all felt very special :)
