Wild West Adventures-- June 24-July 1, 2011

As the pictures indicate, we enjoyed a wonderful time out West. From hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park to cringing at the idea of rattlesnakes in Wyoming and Nebraska to exploring historic locations such as Scottsbluff National Monument and Fort Laramie to taking an actual covered wagon ride, we had fun outdoor adventures. We also really liked visiting with Grandma A and our relatives in Denver throughout our trip.

We were just exhausted as we prepared to return home on Friday, July 1, but Britti still decided to embrace an opportunity to earn some future travel money. Our flight was over-booked from Denver so Britti agreed to stay behind and take a later flight. Nine hours later (and $300 richer), Britti finally joined the rest of the family at home in Athens.

What a fun wild west adventure :)
