Hope that you're enjoying a great Halloween!! We "pre-gamed" our Halloween festivities during our trip to Disney. We had a blast at the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party. Emmy and Ellie-Kate enjoyed trick-or-treating around the Magic Kingdom, and we all appreciated the special parade and fireworks display (as well as a few extra hours to ride some of our favorite rides and to take pictures with rare groups of characters like all seven of the dwarfs).
This past week, Chelsea had two parties (Spanish Club and chemistry class), and Emmy had her class party and annual Morrison Halloween parade as well as the Girl Scout Halloween party. We haven't had a chance to carve the three pumpkins that have survived our hungry deer, but we might still do it this coming week. Ellie-Kate isn't so much of a fan of costumes (except when she's dressing like a princess), but she still managed to have fun during trick-or-treat on Thursday night. The little girls went around the neighborhood (and FROZE in the 45 degree weather!), and Chelsea Meagan handed out candy. Last night, Chelsea went to the annual block party uptown with her friends, and she had a good time, especially looking at the creative costumes and odd behavior, and she didn't even freeze :) Most importantly, we're excited that all of us are finally feeling well again!! Praise God for His healing!!
Hope that your family had a fun Halloween!! More soon :)
