Even during my health scare, life very much continued to go on for the rest of the family-- as it should!! Emmy LOVED attending the British soccer camp here in Athens, and her team (Spain) won the World Cup! She's excited about playing in the rec league, starting in just a few weeks.
Chelsea has had a great season thus far on the tennis team. Her 7-3 match record thus far includes:

Granville: (second singles) 2-6, 0-6 (loss)
Wheelersburg: (third singles) 7-6, 6-1 (win)
Marietta: (third singles) 6-3, 6-3 (win)
Reynoldsburg: (third singles) 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 (win)
Vinton County: (third singles) 6-0, 6-0 (win)
Minford: (third singles) 6-1, 6-0 (win)

Even though I was in the hospital for the first day of school, the girls had a great start on the year. They like their teachers and classmates, and things seem to be going smoothly :)
Britti continues to do great down at Disney. We're eager to visit her in October and November, and she's been busy with her gentleman friend, Paul, and applying for various positions at Disney that she could pursue after finishing her college program in January. Paul is from England, and, unfortunately, he returned home on August 31. Britti is sad that he's gone but happy that they're continuing to talk and plan ways that they can see each other in the future. If you're on Facebook, check out cute pictures of the couple on Britti's facebook account. (I'm also going to try and get some of those pics for the blog as well after I get to feeling better.)
Throughout everything, Ellie-Kate has been a tremendous trooper!! She's always asking, "Mommy, get better soon?" and saying "I love you so much!!" Now that the other girls have started school and that I'm home, we're trying to do pre-school-like stuff at home, reviewing her ABCs, 123s, colors, shapes, etc. Ellie-Kate loves to do art projects, and she's having a blast with coloring and creating "stuff." We're hoping that she can get potty trained and start a few mornings per week of formal preschool in January. She's our social girl so we know that she'd have fun, if we can just conquer this potty training saga!!
Well, that's the scoop for now! I'll upload pictures ASAP. Thanks so much for caring about our family :)
