Emmy competed in "I Spy in the Kitchen," a 4-H food and nutrition project, at the Ohio State Fair. After going through three interview stations, Emmy got to kayak in the Natural Resource area and chat with Smokey the Bear as well as ride a pony, eat ice cream from the butter cow building, watch some draft horse competitions, and check in on the baby lambs and cows that were born at the fair. We went back for the awards, and Emmy won Outstanding of the Day!! Emmy studied really hard for the competition so we were delighted that her hard work paid off with such a great award!!! After the award ceremony, we treated ourselves by going to the merchant's building and taking one more stroll through the barn area before leaving. What a great day!!
