12/14/09-- Quick Update

Hi everyone--

The past few weeks have been a blur of holiday activities (writing Christmas cards, decorating for Christmas, lunch with Santa, shopping, concerts, parties, etc.). We are cherishing the opportunity to introduce Ellie-Kate to all of the sights, sounds, traditions, and meaning of Christmas. She has been having a blast with the decorating, and she *really* loves Santa :)

Also for the past two weeks, Britti has been touring around Ireland and Spain with her friend, Laura, and I am delighted to share that she is now safely back in Athens. She had a fantastic time, and she bubbled with fun stories as we drove home tonight. She's uploading pictures (over 600 of them!), and we'll choose some for the blog tomorrow or Wednesday so that you can get a peak at her adventures :)
