Snow Day-- February 3, 2014

We were so blessed to squeeze Ellie-Kate's birthday party in on Sunday, February 2, just before another snow storm started. Our party ended at 4; Roger and I went to dinner, and the snow started to fall while we were out. Indeed, as we were coming up Mulligan, we saw another car that spun off of the road and into a driveway. Very scary!

Over night, the snow continued to fall, and we ended up with between eight and nine inches! Needless to say, we weren't going anywhere. OU even closed, and the girls enjoyed the unique adventure of sledding down our street-- definitely a first!! The girls were out of school for that day, went to school on Tuesday, and then missed the rest of the week with this unexpected snow storm as well as one that hit on Tuesday night...
