Chelsea's very first apartment is very cool, and we had a great time with shopping for bedding and accessories. Of course, everything had to match with ADPi colors so she went for baby blue and zebra stripes. We arrived in Dallas and then drove to Waco.  For some reason, the rental place had over-booked so we ended up with a SUV for the same price-- SCORE! Fortunately, we were able to fit a bike in the back as well as all of Chelsea's new "stuff." We shopped on Wednesday afternoon (August 14, 2013) and then moved in on Thursday. Because Chelsea had paid her fees already, she was able to move in whenever she wanted on Thursday. We worked really hard on Thursday, moving in what we had already purchased first and then going over to Walmart for groceries and perishables afterward. Of course, Chelsea wanted a few clothes, and we found a Baylor dress for the football games at the bookstore. We were up until after midnight, trying to get Chelsea organized. We got back to the hotel very late, got up early on Friday and picked up pictures from Walmart, and then took a few more photos before I had to leave to come back to Athens. What a blur of a trip, but very cool! Chelsea spent the rest of the week-end on getting organized and on relaxing with friends before beginning her work as a Welcome Week leader.
