After over two weeks of not eating, Izzy still managed to crawl up the stairs and jump on the couch. The steroids seemed to give him some energy, but he still wouldn't eat. We took these pictures, not knowing if he would even be with us when we woke up. Watching him slowly fade away was heart-wrenching. Still, he kept moving, kept purring, kept loving us, and we couldn't give up on him when he wasn't ready to give up on us or life...
