Although we moved our booth stuff in on Friday and the rabbit in on Saturday, Sunday is really the first big day of the fair. The FFA Alumni always host a cook-out for 4-Hers and FFA members (and family members), and it's nice to be greeted with a hot dog and a smile in the Swine Arena. Britti and Chelsea Meagan had the Past Royalty Tea on the Hillside Stage, and the rest of us geared up for the parade. Ellie-Kate and her Cloverbud friends were on the float, and Emmy and a few of the other 4-Hers danced to "Cotton Eye Joe" in front of our Lucky Fours float as we passed by the grandstands. (No, we still didn't win anything, but that's okay!)
