Reflections on Britti's rehearsal dinner...

What a simple yet lovely time! We held the rehearsal dinner at the Athens County Extension office. After loading the cars for the rehearsal dinner and wedding, we got over to the extension office about 2 p.m. and worked on setting up. Blessedly, everyone arrived in perfect time for the dinner, and everything went so smoothly! Teresa, Jeff, Phoebe, and Brodie arrived a bit early, and we had time for photos with the grandmas before Ramon's friends and family drove in from Columbus.

Roger drove over and picked up food from Kaiser's, and we all enjoyed the sandwiches, potato salad, chips, and "Christie cookies" as we visited and watched the slide show that Emmy took so much time to prepare. Afterward, we took pictures and headed over to Marietta.

On the way there, Christie stopped to pick up the cakes from Walmart. We had the special decorated cake as well as individual cakes for each of the tables.

Once in Marietta, we had a wonderful time at the rehearsal-- lots of smiles and laughter-- and then set up for the reception at the Lafayette Hotel. What a beautiful precursor to Britti and Ramon's wedding day :)
