Ellie-Kate played in her second Upward basketball game, scoring a basket and doing a good job of not traveling with the ball. She has one teammate who really enjoys the basketball, and none of the kids are particularly good about passing, but Ellie-Kate started grabbing rebounds, running the distance of the court, and putting the ball toward the hoop. She certainly loves to play!
However, she does not enjoy dance class nearly as much... We're hoping that she's going to learn to love tap as much as her sisters, but, as of right now, she'd rather be on a basketball court. We're not exactly sure why... She really likes to watch the dance recital, and she knows a number of the girls. However, Ellie-Kate has never liked noise and chaos (unless she's making the noise or creating the chaos!) so, perhaps 15 little girls in tap shoes is a bit much for her. We'll see!
