A Family for Ellie-Kate

Christmas Eve-- December 24, 2013

Everybody needs to listen to Ellie-Kate because she's the Chef! The girls opened their new aprons after we had lunch (Bob Evans take-out!) and they got back from the movie ("Frozen") during which Christie wrapped presents. With the opening of the aprons, they were ready to make our traditional cut-out cookies!

The girls wore their matching Christmas dresses to the Christmas Eve service at Albany Baptist Church. The dresses were quite a hit... even if they were a tad bit scratchy to wear :)

Day in Columbus-- December 23, 2013

Roger at COSI

After dropping Chelsea and Britti at Chelsea's eye doctor appointment, Christie dropped Roger, Grandma A., Emmy, and Ellie-Kate at COSI. We re-connected at COSI after the eye appointment, grabbed a quick lunch, and headed to Polaris for family pictures at JC Penney and one last visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the mall. We then left the warmth of the mall for the very chilly trip to Wildlights at the zoo. In spite of the freezing temperatures, we had a good time at this annual event.

Girl Scout Troop 5864's Christmas party-- 12/20/13

We went straight from the Daisy party to the Cadette Troop's part, beginning with pizza at our house and then moving on to Movies 10 and the Fun Barn. We went to see "Frozen" and then played games at the Fun Barn. Elena, Chelsea, Britti, and Ellie-Kate joined in the fun as well.
